Commands

A representative command guide organised around common CAD tasks.

How commands are organised

SFQcad groups commands around the job being done: annotation, blocks, layouts, drafting, cleanup, MEP and selected batch work. Use the SFQ ribbon to browse by category, or type a command directly when you know its name.

The list below is a representative command catalogue. The Manager installed with SFQcad is the source of truth for the complete command set and guidance in your installed version.

Annotation

Command Purpose
AFC Create a field linked to the area of a selected closed boundary.
AT / AF Create area annotations and related output.
FPICK Pick supported field values from drawing objects.
T2ML Convert selected text into a multileader workflow.
STRIPMTEXT Remove selected MText formatting while preserving the underlying content.

Blocks

Command Purpose
COUNTBLOCK Build a block-count legend with preview and quantity information.
CBPR Change a block base point through a focused workflow.
CB / RB Copy or rename block definitions.
BLOCKOUT Export selected block content for reuse.
DELBLOCKS Select and remove unwanted block definitions safely.

Layouts

Command Purpose
TABSORT Sort or copy layout tabs using explicit choices.
CAT Copy selected content across layouts.
SETPAGESETUP Apply page setup choices to layouts.
VPSCALEADD Add and apply a custom viewport scale.

Drafting and cleanup

Command Purpose
ADDLINE Report and accumulate selected line lengths with a remembered unit choice.
SFQSTYLE Create or apply SFQ drawing styles for the chosen scale.
TOTALDIM Calculate a total from selected dimensions.
PUURGE&AUDIT Run the supported cleanup sequence for the active drawing.

Using a command safely

  1. Read the choices shown at the command line.
  2. Select only the intended drawing objects or layouts.
  3. Use a copy of important drawings while learning a command.
  4. Undo immediately if the visible result is not what you expected.
  5. Report the exact command and error text if the same issue repeats.

Command availability

Command names and behaviour may change as SFQcad develops. The public site intentionally does not distribute source files or individual command downloads.
